The Telangana Janasamithi, Congress, and BSP have jointly called for an immediate postponement of the Group-2 exam, and they're not backing down. Supported by the All Parties alliance, leaders from these parties are gearing up for a protest at Gun Park in solidarity with the Group-2 candidates. The situation took a twist when the police, who had initially put these leaders under house arrest, later detained student union leaders. Outraged by this action, the leaders continued their protest from their own residences. In a prior demonstration, student unions rallied outside the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) located in Nampally, Hyderabad. They voiced a strong demand for the Group-2 exams to be rescheduled. Candidates, facing a scheduling clash with the Gurukula Board exams held by the Telangana Residential Educational Institutions Recruitment Board (TREIRB), took to the streets. They urged the commission to reconsider the exam dates and reschedule them to avoid this overlap.
