The vehicle contained liquor bottles, highlighting the issue of drunk driving with over 200 cases daily. Commissioner Trivikram Verma pledged to intensify actions against this menace. Speeding was identified as the accident's cause by Assistant Commissioner Murthy. The car's owner, Egala Mahesh Surya, was identified.
