New Delhi: In a significant development, former minister Jupalli Krishna Rao officially joined the Congress party on Thursday morning. The momentous occasion took place in the presence of AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge, where Jupalli Krishna Rao was welcomed into the party fold by draping the Congress party scarf around his neck. Earlier, Jupalli Krishna Rao, along with prominent leaders like Koochukulla Rajesh Reddy, Vanaparthi leader Mega Reddy, former legislators Gurnath Reddy, and joint Mahabubnagar district leaders, was invited to join the Congress by Mallikarjuna Kharge. The event witnessed the presence of prominent Congress leaders, including TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy, Uttamkumar Reddy, AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal, Incharge Manik Rao Thackeray, and Ponguleti Srinivasreddy.
