Vizianagaram: In a bid to encourage enthusiasm about water sports among the public, a special event was organized on the occasion of World Swimming Day at the Aqua swimming pool in Vizianagaram. This initiative was led by Vizianagaram's MLA and Deputy Chairman, Kolagatla Veerabhadraswami, who himself participated in a one-hour swimming session on Tuesday. Several distinguished attendees were present at the event, including Deputy Chief Minister Pidakala Rajananna, Chairman Tammineni Sitaram, Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, and former Minister and MLA Dharmana Krishnadas, among others.
