In response to the Coromandel Express accident, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has ordered swift action to aid those affected, particularly the passengers hailing from Andhra Pradesh. Subsequently, help desks have been established in the collector's offices to gather details about passengers from AP who were traveling on the ill-fated Coromandel train. AP Minister Gudivada Amarnath, who is en route to the accident site, interacted with the media, specifically TV9. He emphasized that the Chief Minister has provided clear directives to his team to extend all possible assistance to the victims of the crash. Based on preliminary data and PNR reports, a comprehensive inquiry is underway to determine the whereabouts of an estimated 50-60 travelers from Andhra Pradesh. The Minister further confirmed that medical services and ambulances from the neighboring regions of Pathapatnam and Tekkali have been mobilized and are currently stationed at the accident site. Depending on the severity of the situation, arrangements are also in place for
