Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy met with Sikh religious leaders at his camp office to discuss various issues related to the Sikh community. During the meeting, CM Jagan positively responded to the appeals made by the leaders. The Chief Minister agreed to exempt Gurdwaras from property tax and has ordered the removal of property tax on all Gurdwaras. Additionally, he gave the green signal for the formation of a corporation for Sikhs. Furthermore, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy assured that the priests in Gurdwaras will receive the same benefits as priests, pastors, and Moulalis. He also approved the announcement of a holiday on Kartika Poornima, which is the day of Guru Nanak Jayanti. In addition to this, the officials were directed to provide industrial assistance to Sikhs, and steps were suggested to increase the businesses of MSMEs. The Chief Minister ordered officials to take action within 10 days to implement these measures.
