Telangana Minister KTR virtually inaugurated the Flipkart Sangareddy Fulfillment Center (FC) on Tuesday, alongside the company's leadership. During his speech, he mentioned, "There was a saying that ‘What Bengal does today, India does tomorrow,’ it has now changed to ‘What Telangana does today, India does tomorrow". KTR expressed his hope for Flipkart, as a market leader in India, to lead the initiative in creating a unique model that the country can follow. The Minister went on to highlight the tremendous growth of e-commerce sites like Flipkart and shared a personal anecdote about his family members's use of online shopping. He also expressed his happiness over the creation of 40,000 jobs in Telangana by Flipkart but emphasized the need for job security for employees. KTR invited e-commerce companies to create a tri-partite arrangement between the government, vendors, and partners, to make a statement to the country.
