Hyderabad: In a tense situation following the arrest of YSR Telangana Party President Sharmila, her mother YS Vijayamma was denied entry into the Jubilee Hills Police Station to see her daughter. The police's behaviour infuriated Vijayamma, leading to an argument between her and the police. According to sources, Vijayamma allegedly slapped police who tried to stop her. She then burst into tears and questioned why they were not allowing her to see her daughter. Now, the visuals of YS Vijayamma arguing with police are going viral on media. Sharmila was arrested earlier for allegedly assaulting a sub-inspector and a constable on duty while she was on her way to the SIT office. She is currently in police custody, and a case has been registered against her.
