Nellore: Passengers of the Chennai-Delhi Rajdhani Express in the Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh were thrown into a state of panic on Sunday. According to the sources, smoke was detected near the wheels of the B-5 compartment of the train. Thankfully, an alert loco pilot promptly stopped the train, preventing a possible disaster. The train was brought to a halt near Kavali Railway Station for 20 minutes while railway officials investigated the issue. It was later discovered that the smoke was caused by a brake jam, but fortunately, no injuries were reported. After repairs were made, the train was able to continue its journey.
