Hyderabad: T Raja Singh, a suspended Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Telangana, has been charged by the Dadar police under Section 153-A (1) (a) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for delivering an alleged hate speech at the Hindu Sakal Samaj Morcha in Mumbai on January 29. According to the sources, the police filed the charges gainst Raja Singh Monday, almost two months after the event over alleged hate speech. The charges against Raja Singh are related to comments that may have the potential to create enmity between communities and disrupt religious harmony.
