Meerut: On Sunday morning, around 15 vehicles collided on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway in the Masuri area of Ghaziabad due to dense fog and poor visibility. One truck driver sustained serious injuries while five others suffered minor injuries. The local police, fire tenders, and ambulances rushed to the spot after the incident. The injured were taken to the hospital, and the police helped to clear the traffic jam. According to the police, most of the vehicles involved in the accident were cars, and their occupants received minor injuries, with many being released from the hospital after receiving treatment. A senior police official stated that "The accident occurred at around 8 a.m. when the visibility was very poor due to fog on the highway. A truck suddenly slowed down, causing 15 vehicles, including cars and small trucks, to collide one by one. The police team cleared a long traffic jam, and it took almost two hours."
