Mumbai: BCCI chief selector Chetan Sharma has resigned from his position after allegedly making controversial remarks during a sting operation. He claimed that a strained relationship between Virat Kohli and Sourav Ganguly involved "ego issues" and accused Kohli of considering himself "bigger than the Board" and trying to "hit back" at Ganguly after being removed from ODI captaincy. Chetan Sharma sent his resignation to BCCI Secretary Jay Shah, who accepted it. The incident has caused panic among fans and led to demands for action to be taken against those involved.
