Actor and TDP party leader Nandamuri Tarakaratna, who recently suffered a heart attack, is being transported to Bengaluru for advanced medical treatment. Initially, plans were made to airlift him to the city, but it has been decided that he will be transported by ambulance via a green channel from Kuppam PES Medical College to a hospital in Bengaluru. TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu has contacted Bengaluru Chief Minister Basavaraj Somappa Bommai for assistance in Tarakaratna's treatment and has requested for him to be treated at the Narayana Hrudayala Hospital. He has also sought the assistance of the Bengaluru Police Commissioner for the green channel arrangement.
