A video of a heroic fireman, who risked his life to save the national flag from burning in a spinning mill fire, has gone viral on social media. The incident occurred in Bharat Nagar, Panipat district, Haryana. Fireman Sunil Mehla, who is stationed in the Panipat district fire department, spotted the Tricolour hoisted on the roof of the main gate of the mill as the fire broke out. Without hesitation, he climbed onto the roof and successfully retrieved the flag, placing it in a nearby factory with respect. Sunil, a resident of Bhatnagar Colony in Jind, stated that his only focus was on saving the flag, even if it meant risking his life.
