Former Chief Minister Chandrababu expressed confidence in their ability to win the upcoming elections while speaking to the media in Kovur, Nellore district. The TDP Chief claimed that it is obvious that the public is on their side. Chandrababu allegedly referred to YS Jagan as a psycho while criticising Jagan's administration harshly on his alleged undemocratic approach. While describing 2022 as a year of tremendous human misery, he has urged people not to give up while he is still devoted to the growth of the state. He asserted that many YSRCP cadre members also desire to leave the party out of self-respect and love for their state. He has criticised the state government's treatment of Sarpanches and its support for the Secretariat and volunteer systems. He has questioned Sarpanches and other people, enquiring as to what led them to embrace the YSRCP.
