Mancherial: Tension escalated in Mancherial government hospital after hospital staff allegedly swapped the newborns. According to the sources, a pregnant woman got admitted to the Mancherial government hospital and delivered a baby boy. It is said that the hospital staff handed over the baby boy to the patient's relatives. Later, another woman got admitted to the hospital and delivered a baby girl. The issue flared up after the hospital staff asked the first woman to hand over the baby boy to another woman citing she gave birth to a girl. After a protest from both families, the hospital superintendent said that the babies will be handed over to them only after DNA tests.
