On Thursday, senior Congressman Digvijaya Singh met with party leaders at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad as he journeyed to try and solve the Telangana Congress problem. OU student Congress leaders intervened to stop PCC general secretary and former MLA Anil from reprimanding Uttam Kumar. They displayed signs and shouted slogans, "Save Congress." Student leaders at OU pressed Anil to apologise. As a result, there was tension between the two factions. They attempted to shove each other while grabbing the shirts among themselves. They attempted to assault one another. Senior leader Mallu Ravi arrived at this point and calmed the situation.
