Ahead of the elections in 2024, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is attempting to recapture its past glory in the Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts. The TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu's three-day visit to the region between December 22 and 24 is likely to fill josh among the party's cadres after the Khammam Public Meeting. The party followers are optimistic that the former CM's visit will enhance the party's position with the Backward Classes and Scheduled Castes. Chandrababu will address a public meeting first on December 22 in Rajam and will embark on a road show the next day in Bobbili. A large rally is being organized in Vizianagaram on the third and final day. On the other hand, a large crowd of party supporters gathered close to the airport in Visakhapatnam to greet the party president Chandrababu Naidu. In consideration of the state of peace and order, the police have placed restrictions on the movements of TDP cadres.
