Dharmana Prasada Rao, the minister of revenue, has stated that he is willing to step down from his position to head the push for three capitals. The minister met with Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and presented him with a five-page letter to support his claim. The minister in the letter noted that decentralisation of the government is the only way to remove regional disparities in the State while applauding CM Jagan's vision of decentralisation. During his Friday meeting with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Mr. Dharmana Prasada Rao made an intriguing notion. For the benefit of the capital of Visakhapatnam, he informed the CM that he(Mr. Dharmana) would step down. He asked CM Jagan for permission to step down.
