Hyderabad: Heavy rains lashed several parts of Hyderabad on Tuesday night and many areas were inundated with floodwaters. Heavy traffic congestion took place in the city and commuters opted the metro services to reach their destinations. As per the reports, autos, cars and motorbikes washed away in rainwaters in Borabanda and many colonies were submerged in rainwater. Rainwater entered many houses in Borabanda and other low-lying areas. Kondapur, Kukatpalli, Balanagar, Moosapet, Ameerpet, Punjagutta, Khairatabad, Secunderabad, Begumpet, Rajenderanagar, Mehediptnam, Attapur, Alwal and other areas witnessed heavy rains with thunderstorms and people suffered due to heavy traffic.
