N Chandrababu Naidu, the chief of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), paid tribute to Mulayam Singh Yadav, the founder of the Samajwadi Party. Chandrababu took a special aircraft to Delhi to bid his farewells. From there, he took a convoy and travelled to Saifai, Mulayam's ancestral hamlet in the Etawah district. Chandrababu was accompanied by MPs Galla Jayadev and Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar. Chandrababu presented floral tributes at the demised body in the village of his ancestors. According to sources, Mulayam's funeral will take place at 3 p.m. with full state honours. The former Chief Minister Chandrababu would depart for Vijayawada from Delhi after the final rites are completed. On the other hand, K Chandrasekhar Rao, the chief minister of Telangana, will also attend Mulayam's funeral.
