Sujana Chowdary, a senior in the BJP in Andhra Pradesh, claimed that the BJP high command had no preference for any particular state. A former Rajya Sabha member claimed in an interview for the programme "Open Heart With RK" that he had learned a lot about politics in the past 12 years and had not even done so throughout his M-Tech studies. Sujana Chowdary responded that Chandrababu Naidu, the head of the TDP, is still his political mentor when asked why he left the party to join the BJP while holding a respectful position within it. He then attempted to defend his response. Sujana Chowdhary said that he is not particularly concerned about CBI and ED raids at his businesses. He has defended his claim, asserting that he hasn't defrauded anyone and is therefore unaffected by these accusations. Questions about the BJP high command's stance toward two Telugu states have also prompted a response from Sujana Chowdhary.
