Hyderabad: A person with suspected symptoms of monkeypox has been admitted to Hyderabad's Fever Hospital and is under isolation. According to the reports, a 40-year-old man arrived from Kuwait to Kamareddy on 6th July. He approached a private hospital as he developed fever on July 20 and rashes on his body. Kamareddy's doctors suspected it was a case of monkeypox and referred him to Hyderabad. He was admitted to Fever Hospital on Sunday and undergoing treatment in the isolation ward. His samples were sent to the National Institute of Virology, Pune. Officials traced the close contacts of the person and isolated them.
