Mahabubnagar: The locals rescued dozens of private school students from a school bus that got stuck in floodwaters under a railway bridge between Machapalli-Koduru, Mahabubnagar on Friday. According to the reports, the school bus carrying 25 students from Ramachandrapuram and Sugurgadda to school got stuck in the floodwaters under a railway bridge. The alerted locals rushed towards the bus and rescued the students. Later, they removed the bus out of the water with the help of a tractor. The incident created panic among the locals and parents of the students. It is said that around 14 railway under bridges are there in the district.
