East Godavari: The conflicts between the Andhra Pradesh government and movie theater owners intensified and theaters closed. According to the reports, the East Godavari district exhibitors decided to close the theaters from Tuesday. Revenue officials are mounting pressure on the movie theater management asking to sign on MoU for online ticketing and the theater management denies to sign on MoU. A few petitions were filed in the High Court challenging the government's GO and will hear the petitions tomorrow. A few more exhibitors from other districts are going to close the theaters.
