According to officials, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has decided to provide unified opposition presidential candidate Yashwant Sinha with "Z category" security coverage. According to the officials, a CRPF squad took over the assignment after the MHA instructed the CRPF to safeguard the safety of the 84-year-old Sinha. They further said that whenever Sinha travels throughout the nation, eight to ten armed guards will follow him. NDA presidential candidate Droupadi Murmu has been given a higher "Z+" security protection by CRPF commandos. On June 27, Sinha is anticipated to submit his nomination, after which he will tour the nation in quest of support.
