Sabitha Indra Reddy, the Education Minister, denied rumours of extending summer holidays in the light of an increase in COVID-19 cases on Saturday. On Sunday also, she held a Press Meet and advised the wards' parents not to trust such rumours. Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy has indicated unequivocally that Telangana's educational institutions will reopen on Monday (June 13) as scheduled. She stated that all preparations for the new academic year had begun and asked parents and teachers to assist them in all aspects. The Minister stated that, in addition to Telugu medium, teachers in government schools will teach pupils in English from first to eighth grade after providing bridge classes.
