Telangana IT and industries minister KT Rama Rao provoked outrage when he alleged that citizens in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh are suffering from power outages, limited water supply, and bad roads. After the leaders of Andhra Pradesh's ruling party criticised Minister KTR's comments, it is now the turn of CPI (M) National Secretary Narayana, who has come out in support of Telangana Minister's views on the state's poor infrastructure. Narayana stated that he agreed with Telangana Minister's comments about AP's roads and power outages. He has visited the Andhra-Tamil Nadu border area and attempted to illustrate the differences between the two states' roadways, accompanied by evidence. He questioned the poor state of the roads leading to Ayanambakan, Narayana's hometown in Tirupati's Nagari Mandal.
