Bengaluru saw a protest by IT employees who gathered at Freedom Park to express their disagreement with the arrest of TDP chief Chandrababu. They strongly believed that Chandrababu's arrest was unjust. During the protest, they chanted slogans demanding his immediate release. Some of the slogans included 'Psycho should go.. Cycle should come' and 'We want justice.' A significant number of IT employees joined this demonstration. In a show of solidarity with Chandrababu, members of Telugu Sanghas organized a Puja at the Vinayaka Temple in Jayanagar Colony, Bangalore. Following the special prayer ceremony, a large rally was organized. However, the police detained the participants since they had not obtained permission for the rally.
