In the ongoing case involving the arrest and remand of Chandrababu, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, in the AP Skill Development Scam, CID lawyer AAG Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy praised the government's compassionate approach. Sudhakar Reddy commended the Andhra Pradesh government for its humanitarian perspective, stating that they have been very supportive of Chandrababu during this time. He discussed key aspects of the case, highlighting that Rs. 371 crores from the state treasury were allegedly misappropriated during the previous government's tenure. According to Sudhakar Reddy, the previous government officials are believed to have created fraudulent records and invoices to embezzle public funds in the skill development scam. He emphasized that Chandrababu's remand was based on substantial evidence.
