Hyderabad: The Ujjaini Mahankali Bonalu in Secunderabad has begun in grandeur. After the initial rituals, at 3:30 am, Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav offered Bonalu to the goddess on behalf of the government, along with silk garments. Along with his family, he visited the goddess and performed special prayers. Meanwhile, devotees began queuing up from the time of the morning procession to the temple of the goddess. They are offering Bonalu to goddess Mahankali and fulfilling their vows. As a large number of devotees are expected, the government has made special arrangements to avoid any inconvenience. Furthermore, at 9:30 am, MLC Kavitha will be offering Bonalu to goddess Mahankali.
