Hyderabad: A major fire broke out in three bogies of the Falaknuma Express near Bommaipally and Pagidipally in Telangana, causing alarm and concern. According to CH Rakesh, the Chief Public Relations Officer of South Central Railway, all passengers on board were able to safely disembark, and fortunately, no casualties have been reported. The affected bogies were identified as S4, S5, and S6. The luggage of passengers was gutted in the fire. After receiving the information, the fire tenders rushed to the spot and indulging in rescue operations to douse the fire. This incident comes just days after the investigation into the tragic train accident in Odisha, which identified "wrong signalling" as the primary cause, exposing multiple failures within the signalling and telecommunication (S&T) department.
