Kakinada: In a tragic incident, a gravel lorry rammed into a temple resulting in multiple casualties. The shocking incident took place in Kottapalli, Tondangi Mandal of Kakinada. According to the sources, the lorry, en route to Ontimamidi from Annavaram, first struck a drinking water tank before crashing into the adjacent Vinayaka temple. It is learnt that three individuals, including a person who slept on the temple premises and the lorry driver and cleaner, lost their lives in the accident. Local authorities are investigating the incident while the community mourns this devastating loss.
