Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, panic gripped the city of Malakpet when a severed head of a woman was discovered at the Musi River on Wednesday morning. According to the police, the unidentified culprits had brutally beheaded the woman before discarding her head in the riverbed. Preliminary investigations suggest that the heinous crime occurred the previous night. It is learnt that the victim was found wearing gold earrings, and her other ornaments remained untouched. Police suspecting that the murder could be linked to family disputes or a possible extramarital affair. The officials scrutinising the CCTV cameras installed in the area. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
