Hyderabad: Hyderabad police have apprehended an additional suspect connected to the recently dismantled Bhopal-Hyderabad module of the radical Islamic organization Hizb-ut-Tahrir (HuT). The joint operation, carried out by Madhya Pradesh's Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) and counter-intelligence unit, led to the arrest of the suspect in Chandrayangutta's Hafiz Baba Nagar. This arrest was made based on information obtained from the interrogation of six individuals arrested earlier. In total, 17 individuals associated with HuT were apprehended across Bhopal, Chhindwara, and Hyderabad. The suspects, including professionals such as a college lecturer and a cloud service engineer, are being investigated for possible subversive activities.
