The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, arrived in Visakhapatnam on Thursday morning and immediately flew by helicopter to Madhuravada to unveil the statue of Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA cricket stadium. During his scheduled visit to Visakhapatnam, the CM, accompanied by ministers Gudivada Amarnath, Vidadala Rajini, and RK Roja, among others, proceeded to the ADA-VCDA International Cricket Stadium from the airport. There, he felicitated women cricketers K. Anjali Sarvani and Shabnam, interacted with their parents, and presented them with medals and a cash prize of Rs.10 lakh each. After unveiling the statue at the stadium, the Chief Minister made his way to Apollo Hospitals in Arilova to inaugurate a cancer block on the premises. This visit highlights his commitment to promoting healthcare development in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
