Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a 26-year-old software engineer collapsed and died in his car after playing cricket with friends at the KCR Cricket Stadium in the Ghattupalli suburb of Maheshwaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. According to the sources, the deceased identified as Marripudi Manikantha, who hailed from Mallavaram village of Maddipadu Mandal in Prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh, had come to Hyderabad last year for software training and was working as a software employee while staying in a hostel in KPHB Colony. On the day of the incident, Manikantha complained of back pain after bowling an over and went to rest in his car. His friends later found him collapsed and informed his brother, Venkatesh. The body has been shifted to Osmania Hospital for post-mortem, and a case has been registered regarding the incident.
