Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a police constable working with the elite Grey Hounds, Veera Swamy, died on Sunday night reportedly due to electrocution in Jubilee Hills. The incident occurred when Veera Swamy was riding his motorcycle on the Jubilee Hills checkpost road after heavy rains. According to local sources, Veera Swamy's motorcycle reportedly slipped, causing him to fall onto the pavement and come in contact with an electrical pole, which electrocuted him. He died on the spot. The police reached the spot upon receiving information and shifted the dead body to the mortuary.
