On Sunday, the new Telangana Secretariat, claimed to be one of the largest and tallest in the country, was inaugurated. The event was made special with an elaborate arrangement for guests and political representatives, including ministers, MLAs, MLCs, Secretariat staff, and officials of various departments. According to an official release, the 'Sudarsana Yagam' ritual began at 6 AM and concluded at 1.30 PM, after which Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao occupied his chambers on the sixth floor. To cater to everyone's preferences, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items were prepared for the event. Giri, the head of the cooking section, said that around 150-200 people were engaged in cooking various dishes such as Dum Ki Mutton Biryani, Prawns fried, Mirchi Ka Salan, Egg Khurma, Telangana Chicken curry, Methi Paneer, Guthu Vankaya Masala, Drumstick-Tomato curry, Palakura-Tomato Dal, Vegetarian Pulao, Vegetable Sambhar, Plain Rice, Mixed Raitha, and more since early morning.
