The Supreme Court has directed the Andhra Pradesh High Court to quickly resolve the petition filed by the state government regarding the controversial GO No.1. The Chief Justice of India was presiding over the case following a petition filed by Kollu Ravindra, former minister and leader of the Telugu Desam Party. Earlier, the AP High Court had completed the hearing on the case but postponed its verdict, prompting the petitioners to appeal to the Supreme Court for action. During the hearing, the petitioners' counsel informed the bench that the verdict had been pending since January. In response, the Supreme Court issued orders for the High Court to give a final verdict on the case as soon as possible.
