Hyderabad: YSRCP leader YS Sharmila was arrested by the Jubilee Hills police on charges of assaulting a sub-inspector and a constable on duty. The incident took place when Sharmila was on her way to the SIT office to investigate the leaked question papers. After her arrest, Sharmila was taken to Jubilee Hills Police Station, where a case has been registered against her. The police have not yet disclosed any further details about the case. Adding to the drama, Sharmila's mother, Vijayamma, arrived at the police station to meet her daughter but was denied entry by the police. This led to a heated argument between Vijayamma and the police, with the former questioning the grounds of her daughter's arrest and the police's behavior towards her. Vijayamma also expressed her dismay at the police's actions and the need for her daughter's arrest. She vowed to stay put until she was allowed to meet her daughter.
