Srikakulam: In a tragic incident, an 18-month-old girl named P Satvika died after being attacked by a stray dog in Mettavalasa village under G Sigadam Mandal in Andhra Pradesh's Srikakulam district on Friday night. According to the police, the incident occurred on Tuesday evening when Satvika was playing near her home at the outskirts of the village. A stray dog entered the locality and attacked the young girl, leaving her with at least a dozen dog bite marks on her body. Satvika's parents heard her cries for help and immediately rushed to rescue her. They took her to Government Hospital at Rajam in Vizianagaram district for medical treatment, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries on Friday night.
