Chittoor: In a tragic incident, a woman was found dead inside her beauty parlour in the Kondamitta area on the Chittoor-Vellore highway. A man who was known to her and her family was also found at the scene with his throat slit and battling for his life in a pool of blood. According to the sources, the deceased woman, identified as Durga, had recently started the business after completing a beautician's course in Hyderabad. The man, named Chakravarthy, was rushed to a government hospital for treatment. Police are investigating whether the incident was a suicide pact between the two or if Chakravarthy killed Durga before attempting to take his own life.
