A video has surfaced showing a scary encounter between two divers and a giant Pacific octopus (GPO) in British Columbia, Canada. The incident occurred in October 2022 when Michael Marcotte and Stuart Seldon were searching for an octopus in Canadian waters. Marcotte, the owner of WetRock, a Canadian fishing and private tour company, explained that they were diving on the Browning wall when they became separated due to the rushing tides. While searching for octopus in the cracks and crevices along the wall, Seldon saw the GPO and began taking photos. As Seldon was setting up his camera, the GPO suddenly attacked him, wrapping its tendrils around his neck, limbs, and torso. The terrifying encounter was captured on video and shows Seldon struggling to break free from the octopus's grasp. The GPO, named Larry, is an orange-colored creature that can grow up to 16 feet in length and weigh up to 110 pounds. Despite its frightening encounter with Seldon, the
