Nizamabad: A heart wrenching incident has come to light at the Nizamabad District Government General Hospital, where a patient was dragged on the floor by his own relatives to reach the doctor, ignoring the availability of a stretcher. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media, sparking outrage and demands for better healthcare infrastructure. According to the sources, the incident took place on the evening of 31st March, when a patient suffering from an illness that rendered him unable to walk was brought to the hospital by his relatives. He was made to sit outside the Out-Patient department throughout the night and well into the afternoon of the following day, April 1st. Upon registering him, the hospital staff gave him a ticket to see the doctor on the second floor.
