Hyderabad: A massive fire broke out at the JP Paints factory located in the Mallapur industrial area on the outskirts of Hyderabad on Wednesday. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. and resulted in huge flames leaping out of the factory premises, spreading panic among residents in the nearby residential area. Thankfully, no loss of life was reported since there were no employees present in the factory when the fire broke out. However, the blaze took more than three hours to douse, and six fire engines were dispatched to the scene to bring it under control. Firefighters worked tirelessly to prevent the fire from spreading to three adjoining factories. According to authorities, a short circuit is suspected to have caused the fire.
