A verbal dispute erupted between YSR Telangana Party's president, YS Sharmila, and the CPM's state secretary, Tammineni Veerabhadram. Tammineni's alleged remark that Sharmila is a pawn of the BJP did not sit well with her. Sharmila hit back at the CPM's state office, proclaiming that she is not a stooge for anyone and that only her party, YSR Telangana Party, fights against the BJP. Sharmila accused the Left parties of being subservient to the BRS in reference to the Munugode election. Tammineni Veerabhadram expressed his displeasure with Sharmila, saying that it was inappropriate for her to criticize them while visiting their office. He emphasized that each party has its own political agenda and clarified that their position on the Munugode election was transparent.
