Hyderabad: The Delhi excise policy case involving BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha has taken a new turn with the Enforcement Directorate (ED) filing a caveat against her. The agency has appealed to the Supreme Court to refrain from issuing any orders regarding Kavitha's plea without hearing the ED's side of the case. Kavitha has been summoned by the ED to appear before them on March 20 for questioning in the presence of the accused, Arun Ramchandra Pillai, and others involved in the case. However, Kavitha has not made any statements about her willingness to appear before the agency on the given date. Instead, she has informed the ED that she will wait until the Supreme Court hears her petition on March 24. Meanwhile, Kavitha has also filed a petition challenging the ED's summons.
