Dr. RS Praveen Kumar, the President of the Bahujan Samaj Party in Telangana and a former IPS officer, has called for the resignation of TSPSC Chairman B Janardhan Reddy in the wake of question paper leaks. During a press conference, Praveen Kumar named MLC K Kavitha and Minister Harish Rao as having played a role in the paper leak case. He alleged that agents of Telangana Chief Minister KCR were involved in the confidential section and that they supplied the Group 1 papers to Kavitha and Rao. Praveen Kumar claimed to have sufficient evidence to support his allegations and stated that he would present it to the High Court or the CBI at the appropriate time. Praveen Kumar, who worked in the State Police department, expressed no confidence in the SIT and accused four people who qualified and topped the 2016 TSPSC examination of being unprepared for the test.
