On Wednesday, a potential security breach was observed in Agartala, Tripura as a car sped past a group of policemen who had stopped it, intruding into the convoy of the Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The incident was caught on camera, showing a white Tata Tigor following the home minister's convoy as he left the State Guest House in Agartala. As the convoy passed by, the police attempted to stop the Tigor, but it managed to evade the security detail and speed past the convoy, breaching the security perimeter. This incident raises concerns about the effectiveness of the security measures in place for high-profile individuals. Amit Shah was in Agartala to discuss an alliance between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Tipra Motha with former Tripura royal Pradyot Manikya Debburma. He also held a meeting with the recently sworn-in Chief Minister of Tripura, Manik Saha.
